Why Ordering Ahead Matters: Thoughtful Blooms, Made Just for You
Why can’t I just order a bouquet on the day?
Great question! Unlike large flower shops that keep a big inventory on hand, I run a small, boutique floral studio where every arrangement is made to order. That means I don’t have a fridge full of pre-made bouquets waiting to go—I create each design thoughtfully, using the freshest seasonal flowers I’ve sourced just for you.
By ordering at least a day in advance (preferably more!), you're helping me plan carefully and sustainably—ensuring nothing goes to waste and every bloom is used with intention.
What’s the benefit of ordering ahead?
1. Freshest blooms possible:
I visit the flower markets or receive deliveries from local growers based on what I need for your order. Once the market closes each morning, I can’t get more flowers until the next day. Ordering ahead means I can secure the best blooms just for you.
2. Less stress for you:
We’ve all had that last-minute panic! But when you order early, you get to check "flowers" off your list and focus on what really matters—celebrating your special moment, finding the perfect outfit, or just enjoying the lead-up to the day.
3. Thoughtfully crafted, not rushed:
Each bouquet I create is designed with care, inspired by your chosen colour palette and seasonal availability. A little extra notice gives me time to make sure every detail is just right.
What if I want a specific flower or colour?
If you’re after something particular—like a specific rose variety or an exact shade of dusty pink—it’s best to order at least a week in advance. This gives me time to speak with growers or suppliers and do my best to bring your vision to life.
I don’t always guarantee exact flower types (nature can be unpredictable!), but I’ll always aim for the feel, palette, and style that fits your request beautifully.
How far in advance should I order?
Everyday bouquets: At least 1–2 days before
Custom palettes or special blooms: 5–7 days ahead
Event florals: 2–4 weeks ahead (or more if possible!)
Is this all part of your sustainable approach?
Absolutely. By working to order, I avoid overbuying flowers, reduce waste, and support local growers who supply seasonal, beautiful blooms. It’s floral design with heart, care, and integrity—and it’s how I ensure your bouquet is as meaningful as it is magical.
The takeaway?
Ordering ahead isn’t just about logistics—it’s about crafting something truly special for you or someone you love. It gives me the time and space to create with care, and it ensures your flowers arrive fresh, thoughtful, and full of soul.
