Botanical Print Floral Art Workshop Saturday April 18

$95.00

Create with the seasons. Connect with your creativity. Celebrate with flowers.

What’s better than a flower bouquet? One that will last forever!

In this workshop you will create three small floral artworks using hand printed papers. Each paper is unique, printed by hand using a variety of botanicals as the basis for the print. I always want to make the most of each bloom and by using them to create stunning printed papers, their beauty is guaranteed to last. Bold, colourful and full of fun, these little works of art will brighten any space and are perfect for hanging on a wall, sitting on a bookshelf or as a gorgeous, heartfelt gift.

Please note, artworks pictured are an example only of the style of art to be made. There will be a variety of colours and papers for you to use to ensure your artworks match your aesthetic.

Join us for a relaxed and joy-filled workshop where you’ll learn the art of creating your very own floral masterpiece! We’ll chat about floral principals of design so you will have a good foundation to create your artistic floral arrangements. You will stepped through the process with tips, ideas and inspiration aplenty!

Be warned, your artworks may be a little wild and magical!

This workshop is designed to be more than creating art—it’s a moment to pause, connect, and create something truly beautiful with your hands and heart. Whether you come solo or bring a friend, expect inspiring hand printed papers, thoughtful guidance, and a warm cup of tea or coffee in hand.

Meet Your Workshop Host: Cynthia Groves

With over 25 years of experience as a teacher and a lifelong love of flowers, I bring a deep passion for creativity, connection, and meaningful experiences to every workshop I run. After a long and rewarding career in education, I followed my heart into floristry, founding Blossom and Blaze Floral as a space where artistry and nature meet. My workshops are grounded in the same values that have always guided me: care, creativity, and community. I believe in creating moments that nourish the soul—whether it's through the joy of working with your hands, learning something new, or simply sharing stories and laughter over a cup of tea. These workshops are more than just about florals—they’re about pausing, connecting, and celebrating beauty in all its wild, seasonal forms.

I can’t wait to create with you.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be working with different textures. You may find it beneficial to bring well-fitting gloves to wear when handling and conditioning some stems. The workshops are usually held outdoors (under cover) so please dress for the weather! Workshops will be moved inside in the event of wild or inclement weather. Workshops held in Castle Hill 2154.

No refunds can be given. If you are unable to attend, you may ask a friend to attend in your place. Workshop address and details will be emailed prior to the event.
